This design challenge is a competition aimed at 11 to 18 year old students. Teams of between one and four can choose one of five challenges to create the design and marketing strategy for a new product. They then present their work in a team pitch to a panel of judges in the style of BBC TV’s Dragon’s Den. The format of the competition lends itself to either incorporation into existing Design Technology work or within an extra-curricular club due to it being based around the traditional design process.
