In April 2009, 44 teachers from the East Midlands attended the first Space Conference for Science Teachers. The three day conference combined space and astronomy lectures from leading academic Professors and intensive hands on workshops showing how space can be used as a context for teaching so much of the Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 science curriculum.
Kaisra Khan from Humphrey Perkins School, Leicestershire wrote a full report on her experience at the conference to view the report click here.
