K'Nex challenge event in Castle Donington

by Guest Blogger 2. December 2009 11:29

On Wednesday November 18th, staff from (Rolls-Royce) Compressors Engineering ran a K'Nex challenge event with 120 Year 3 to 5 children at Orchard Primary School in Castle Donington, near Derby. The children were challenged to produce a working catapult using only K'Nex (supplied by Lawrie Peck of DEBP) plus a rubber band, and while not all the designs were successful, all the children threw themselves into the challenge and some of the results were very impressive. At https://mid-terms.com/informative-economics-essay-writing/ you can request economics essay writing help from our writers if you consider the task to be too difficult.

Pictured with the winners from Year 3/4, from left to right are Mark Hancox, James Clark, Jin Shang, Hazel Le Cornu and Alex Shaw. Dave Chilton, Kiran Auchoybur and Richard Brookes also helped to run the session for Year 5.
