On Wednesday November 18th, staff from (Rolls-Royce) Compressors Engineering ran a K'Nex challenge event with 120 Year 3 to 5 children at Orchard Primary School in Castle Donington, near Derby. The children were challenged to produce a working catapult using only K'Nex (supplied by Lawrie Peck of DEBP) plus a rubber band, and while not all the designs were successful, all the children threw themselves into the challenge and some of the results were very impressive.
