STEMNET and the STEM Advisory Forum are running a STEM Forum event for STEM Ambassadors and STEM school/college teachers at the National Space Centre from 4.30pm on Monday 27th September 2010.
This event brings together teachers with people who use STEM in industry, research and business. The main purpose of the event is to share information and views between education and the workplace so that links between them can be strengthened. The STEM Advisory Forum enables two way communications between the DfE and BIS High Level Strategy Group and Advisory Forum members. It has an important role to play in giving members of the wider STEM community the opportunity to receive information and feedback on the STEM agenda. Views are expressed via the STEM Advisory Forum website, events such as this one and other routes. These views are used to help inform the DfE and BIS in taking forward the Government's STEM agenda.
