    The fifth annual Global Marathon For, By and About Women in Engineering – a live webcast and teleconference -- runs continuously from Noon on Wednesday, March 11 through Noon Thursday, March 12, 2009(EDT).  It is managed by volunteers in each continent who arrange for four hours of live internet or telephone conversation from their time zone as it follows the sun around the world, connecting women everywhere. There will be events and discussions between women about a wide range of topics in engineering.
