Nottingham Science City launches it debut newsletter, Wavelength. Wavelength, published quarterly, will deliver all the latest news and views from Nottingham's science community - including businesses, academics and property developers - and mark the city's status as one of the only six official Science Cities in England and Wales.
Stories in this first issue include:
- Budgie the Helicopter and co help take students on the science ride - how computer gaming is influencing the teaching of sciences
- An interview with Ken Shuttleworth, the architect responsible for The University of Nottingham's new Innovation Park, including the UK's tallest free-standing sculpture, Aspire
